President Vladimir Putin has a meeting scheduled on April 25 with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, Kommersant newspaper reports. The heads of state will meet in Vladivostok. Negotiations will take place on Russkiy Island, where the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University is located. The classes for students will be canceled for safety reasons as Kim Jong-un will live on the island. 

Kim Jong-un will arrive in our country on his armored train. About thirty representatives of the North Korean delegation have already arrived in Vladivostok today. More than two hundred people will accompany the North Korean leader in total. 

The summit’s agenda, according to the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, will mainly affect "the development of bilateral relations" and "a discussion of the problem of denuclearization." In addition, the leaders will discuss trade and economic issues.

After the meeting, the Russian leader will go to the Chinese capital, where he will take part in the second forum of the China’s Belt and Road initiative. Kim Jong-un will remain in Vladivostok to enjoy an extensive cultural program. It is planned that he will explore the sights and places visited by his father. Kim Jong-il's visit to Russia took place in 2002.
